Celluma LLLT
Low-level light therapy for inflammation and healing

About This Service
Celluma Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of blue, red, and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and promote healing in the eyelid tissues and meibomian glands.
Unlike IPL, which uses high-intensity pulsed light to target blood vessels, LLLT works at the cellular level — energizing mitochondria, reducing oxidative stress, and triggering anti-inflammatory pathways. This makes it an excellent complement to IPL and RF treatments, enhancing their effects and supporting long-term gland health.
Celluma LLLT is completely non-thermal and non-invasive. Patients simply relax with the Celluma panel positioned close to their face for 15–30 minutes. There is no discomfort, no downtime, and no recovery period. It is safe for all skin types and can be used as a standalone treatment or as part of a comprehensive dry eye protocol.
